Themes
My preferred genre is historical fiction. I have written about the Roman Empire, the Spanish conquest of the Aztecs, and the first overland expedition into the uncharted wilderness of Alta California. I strive to use a broad palette of colorful descriptions and powerful wording to recreate the vast panoramas of long-forgotten events and bring to life the people who lived in those turbulent times.
